Monday on How I Met Your Mother it was revealed that Marshall has an addiction to making charts and graphs (e.g. a pie chart of his favorite bars to drink at, followed by a bar graph of his favorite kinds of pie to eat). Wonderful.

But the hands-down best chart?

"We need to get that graph and frame it on our wall," the Metallurgist said.

OH. MY. GOD. So, because I don't want to be creepy, I feel the need to explain. I read your wife's blog, which I found through the A Practical Wedding post about your wedding (loved Lovely...my man and I are looking into getting married there ourselves). Anyway, I got into The Maiden Metallurgist, because well, your wife is funny. Anywho...for whatever reason it occurred to me that I'd never read her bio and I was doing so, and I saw *you* had a blog. So I started reading *your* blog, and I came across this post. OH. MY. GOD. I love, love, love, HIMYM, and I have been replaying this joke in my head since it aired. During the day sometimes I just think about it and chuckle. A.P. (that's my bf) didn't get it, because he's not a huge Simon & Garfunkel fan like me. Neither are many of my friends. Sad,huh? Anyway, it makes me rather happy that you have devoted a whole post to the awesomeness of that joke. Okay, so that's my RIDICULOUSLY long comment. Carry on...
