06.18.09 Sing, Sing, Sing

Have you ever been sitting around and thought, "I wonder which kitchen utensil would work better as a microphone, just in case I ever need to use one as such?"

Well wonder no more! Or...continue wondering, but at least have some outside research to base your answer on.

The Whisk or The Wooden Spatula is the winner in my book.
I think I prefer slatted utensils as microphones.

I like the pizza cutter. A) It is unexpected. Who really sings into a pizza cutter? B) You got it to flash light. It has bling. C) It's sort of dangerous to dance around with a cutting utensil up to your face. Edgy.

Also, this is how supremely uncool I am, but that mix of songs has just made my morning.

I'm sure I've said this before, but, um, Josh? What do you DO all day? I mean besides this?

:)

I think whisk wins because it had the best choreography. Well played with the running man right into the singing. Plus it's sort of the closest to the actual shape of a microphone. Bel Biv DaVoe would be proud.

+Kate says...

Also, this is the funniest thing you have ever done.

+Sarah G says...

poison + running man + whisk = winner.

but you rocked it with the wooden spoon, so that's a close second.

thanks DJ for the music mix.

i wish i knew how to post video. greatness. enjoy your wifeless weekend such as myself. when in chicago and dallas alone, drink.

As always, I love your performances!! This was well worth playing hooky from work and discovering mid-day! I loved the choreography with the tongs, but my fav was the orange spatula. The bright flash just really added something! Thanks for that.

PS.
I'm really glad you don't work in an office--we'd miss all this!

+Alex says...

A. That's not what a "rubber spatula" looks like. Not in my world, anyway.

B. Come on. Footloose. Kevin Bacon. The clear winner is metal spatula.

C. Why are you holding "metal slatted spoon" so wrong? It's like you're trying to make it lose.

D. I'll be honest. I have DSL. That's as far as I got.

youtube star!

+Jenn says...

Why are you so awesome?

I'm going to say whisk.

+WhatWhat says...

I think Rubber Spatula had DID.

Pizza cutter -- and bonus points for the added danger! "I'll cut ya, Josh, I'll cut ya."

But, the whisk definitely represented.

+Ondrea says...

okay - I commented on the metallurgist's site as well and coming out of voyeur status to say you crack me UP! you just rock! thanks!

+Julia says...

Pizza cutter...although the whisk was a close second. Who can resist the gleam of a sharpened "microphone"?

+ANG* says...

well that was just fantastic. i vote whisk!
